Our Story

A Place 4 Everyone Learning Center

Our story starts back in 2010 when a little bundle came to us from Banner NICU at 10 days old. Little did we know he and his older brother, who was 2 years old at the time and living in another home, would later change our family and our lives in the best way possible forever. Like the rest of our children, our birth child, and our adoptive children we came to be blessed with.

A CVICU nurse and an OR scrub tech/retired Navy Sailor living our best life sharing our love for children caring for a variety of children with different abilities, medical and behavioral challenges, 16 to be exact, over a period of 14 years. We adopted four children of the 16 and helped the others find their forever homes and some reunite with their birth families as they grew stronger.

We learned so much about the resilience of children and families and the importance of community over the years. As the brothers grew and the needs in the community were identified to us, we saw that we could make a greater impact for them and kiddos like them in an environment that support both their behaviors and teaching them curriculum, as long as, you had the right staff, with the right support and the right education and training with the compassion and drive to make a difference in child’s life.

In 2014 I devoted myself to finding and developing such a place for our son Brody, who was 4 years old at that time, and is now 13 years old.

In June 2018, we opened our doors to the community as a school that offered childcare to typical and non-typical children. Then COVID hit a few years later, we supported first responders and parents who still went to work and their children who needed a place to go or they were remote but needed to socialize with friends. We never closed our doors and never had a case on site, due to our practices and the staff’s hard work.

We received our approval for a DDD contact for DTT, DTS and transportation in March 2024. We are excited to be able to provide more options for families in the east valley with our programs and are presently working on adding new programs. As our son’s needs grow, we are inspired to grow our services to meet other children with special needs also. So keep a lookout for more to come.

Services We Offer

June and July are our summer program months, when we host an all-inclusive program funded by Arizona Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).

All activities focus on achieving a successful outcome for each individual member in the areas of social, emotional, physical, and developmental growth. This is done with weekly themed curriculum-based activities, projects and events based on ELA, STEM, MATH. Social studies and Science. All activities are geared for all children with and without disabilities.
