Make a meaningful impact in someone’s life by volunteering your time. You can assist in the classroom, help with teacher craft preparation, complete simple handyman repairs onsite, or support holiday activities like teaching children a new song or organizing school break programs.
Students and volunteers give back to their community by playing a key role in helping students, for example, service-learning students from educational programs have gained required hours working onsite; occupational therapy students worked with traveling therapists in weekly sessions; high school students seeking community service hours have contributed by setting up events, supporting teachers with prep work on Saturdays (while enjoying some free pizza!); others have assisted with our non-profit holiday food and back-to-school drives for low-income families in the community.
If you’re interested in getting involved and experiencing the joy of volunteering, please contact Karen or Rosa at 480-985-6797 or email info@aplace4everyone.com. We’d love to have you join us!
